YDI to Roll Out Youth Thrive Training

This past October, two of YDI’s most seasoned trainers flew to St Louis to participate in a trainers training for Youth Thrive, a framework for achieving positive outcomes for youth. Youth Thrive was developed by the Center for the Study of Social Policy as an approach to working with youth that both mitigates against risk and enhances healthy development. The Youth Thrive approach synthesizes research on positive youth development, resilience, neuroscience and brain development, stress and the impact of trauma to identify and define a set of protective and promotive factors. YDI is the only organization in the New York area now certified to train on the Youth Thrive approach. We will be rolling out this training in 2018; watch this space for details or contact us now to arrange for a training in the Spring (use the Request Service button on our homepage).
